Here at International Teaching World (ITW), we are currently supporting an excellent international school based in the wonderful Tokyo, Japan with the acquisition of a highly passionate teacher of American History with the ability to deliver American History lessons via the American Common Core Curriculum. The Ideal Candidate

This outstanding school group are seeking a teacher with a history of excellence in the subject areas. The successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of engaging lessons via a standardized curriculum,. History teachers will be responsible for the teaching and assessment of a mixed demographic of student. The ideal candidate will consistently provide highly engaging lessons. Teachers will also demonstrate the ability to assess students learning within the field off History. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a passion and commitment to the area and will be able to multi task, source appropriate learning material from a wide range of resources, and create a colourful learning environment, promoting every child’s right to learn.  The ideal candidate will possess a true passion for the subject, and will adopt an approach to teaching and learning that compliments that of the school.

Educational and Experience (Requirements)

*Bachelor’s Degree

Relative Field to Subject Specialism of course is highly preferable

*PGCE with QTS, Valid US Teaching Licence, Bachelor of Education, Irish Teaching Council Registration, SACE etc.

 *Candidates require a minimum of two years teaching experience
