The Ideal Candidate:

The successful candidate will be a knowledgeable and enthusiastic educator with a deep understanding of both Business and Economics at iGCSE and IB Diploma levels. They will have a flair for bringing current events and real-world applications into the classroom and be confident developing students’ critical thinking, research skills, and global awareness. A strong track record of academic success, a passion for engaging lesson delivery, and the ability to inspire young minds are essential. The ideal teacher will be collaborative, forward-thinking, and eager to contribute to extracurricular enterprise opportunities, such as school business clubs or student-led economic forums. A commitment to pastoral care, inclusivity, and professional growth is also highly valued.

Educational and Experience (Requirements):

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, or a closely related field
Recognised teaching qualification: PGCE, Teaching Diploma, B.Ed, or equivalent
Minimum of 2 years’ post-qualification teaching experience
Experience teaching iGCSE Business and/or IB Business Management and Economics
Preferred: International teaching experience, Master’s degree, and experience with inquiry-based or project-based learning
