Humanities Teacher | High Achieving, IB Accredited School in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia | Next Academic Year (August 2023)
Here at International Teaching World (ITW), we are currently supporting one of the leading international schools in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia based in the metropolis that is Jeddah with the recruitment of a highly talented teacher of Humanities. This outstanding school caters for students from Kindergarten, all the way up to grade 12 and is home to a highly international demographic student populous, with children attending the school from over 60 countries . The school has also been accredited by the Council of International Schools (CIS) and has also gained full authorisation by the International Baccalaureate Organisation (IBO). The Ideal Candidate
This outstanding school are seeking teachers with capabilities Humanities with a history of excellence in the subject areas. Teachers will be responsible for the delivery of engaging lessons via a standardized curriculum,. Humanities teachers will be responsible for the teaching and assessment of a mixed demographic of student through out the ages of 11 – 15 years old. The ideal candidate will consistently provide highly engaging lessons. Teachers will also demonstrate the ability to assess students learning within the field off Humanities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a passion and commitment to the area and will be able to multi task, source appropriate learning material from a wide range of resources, and create a colourful learning environment, promoting every child’s right to learn. References will indicate a minimum of two years of excellent practice within the field of Humanities.
Educational and Experience (Requirements)
*Bachelor’s Degree in a Geographical, Historical or Humanities based field
(Relative to subject area)
*PGCE with QTS, Valid US Teaching Licence, Bachelor of Education, Irish Teaching Council Registration, SACE etc.
(Recognised Teaching Qualification)
*Candidates require a minimum of two years teaching experience
