The Ideal Candidate:
The successful candidate will be a passionate and knowledgeable Physics teacher with experience delivering the British curriculum at Key Stage 3, IGCSE, and A Level. They will bring a love for their subject and the ability to inspire high levels of engagement and achievement through practical investigations, real-world contexts, and problem-solving approaches. The ideal candidate will be confident in using technology to enhance learning, differentiating effectively for a range of learners, and delivering lessons that develop scientific inquiry and thinking skills. They will have strong classroom management, excellent organisational abilities, and a collaborative spirit. Participation in extracurricular STEM activities, academic competitions, and cross-disciplinary initiatives will be highly valued. The candidate should also demonstrate a commitment to professional growth and a willingness to contribute to whole-school improvement.
Educational and Experience (Requirements):
Bachelor’s degree in Physics or a closely related subject
Recognized teaching qualification e.g., PGCE, QTS, etc.
Minimum of 2 years’ teaching experience post-qualification
Experience teaching Physics at IGCSE and A Level preferred
