The Ideal Candidate:
The successful candidate will be a dynamic and imaginative educator with a passion for visual arts and a track record of delivering engaging and inspiring lessons. They will be able to nurture creativity, teach a variety of artistic techniques and media, and foster a culture of exploration and originality in the classroom. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching Art within a British curriculum context, ideally across a range of key stages, and will be confident preparing students for assessments, portfolios, and public exhibitions. They will demonstrate strong classroom management, the ability to differentiate for all learners, and a commitment to student progress and well-being. Participation in school exhibitions, creative co-curricular programmes, and collaborative arts initiatives will be highly valued. A genuine enthusiasm for working with young people and contributing to the broader life of the school is essential.
Educational and Experience (Requirements):
Bachelor’s degree in Art, Fine Arts, or a related subject
Recognized teaching qualification e.g., PGCE, QTS, etc.
Minimum of 2 years’ teaching experience post-qualification
