Here at International Teaching World (ITW), we are very proud to announce that we will be contributing to the natural growth of an incredibly ambitious, IB (International Baccalaureate) delivering academy based in the magical city of Lusail, Qatar and supporting this wonderful institute with the acquisition of a highly talented teacher of Primary / Elementary Education with distinct specialisms in Physical Education OR a fully qualified PE Teacher with successful experiences with a younger demographic of student. The academy begun it’s ambitious journey three years ago and very quickly gained accreditation from the International Baccalaureate (IB) due to the robust professional development provided by the academy to it’s teaching staff as well as it’s outstanding delivery of a cross curricular approach to teaching and learning. Due to it’s cross curricular approach, the school have not be bound to recruitment focussed on past curricular experiences and has focussed on hiring teaching staff based on their personal attributes, which has resulted in a highly talented team from all working in collaboration. Teachers from from an incredibly diverse, western background work in collaboration, delivering an engaging curriculum. The school also promote the development of the whole child, maintaining not only a focus on academic achievement but emotional intelligence. Recent observations remark on how all decisions made by the leadership team  are focussed on pupil’s interest, truly supporting the development of all in attendance at the academy, resulting in a highly student focussed environment. The Academy are seeking highly talented teacher of Primary PE (Physical Education) to join their dynamic team for the beginning of next academic year (August 2023).

The ambitions of the academy is supported by an outstanding, purposefully designed campus. Teachers are able to deliver their expertise in sizeable and colourful classrooms, all of which equipped with a plethora of carefully selected, age appropriate resources. The academy also boasts specially designed spaces across the campus in the form of music rooms; blessed with an array of instruments and recording equipment and computer suites; equipped with first class technology and resources for it’s student’s. The teaching of art is supported by specialist studios with a vast array of resources and materials, as well as excellently facilitated libraries and wonderful areas for students to play. The academy also boats excellent facilities for the teaching of sport, inclusive of soccer pitches, as well as newly built courts for students to enjoy basketball, tennis and volleyball. The academy also is home to 4 swimming pools for the delivery of specialized PE lessons and extra curricular activities, which can also be enjoyed by staff,  outside of school hours.

Educational and Experience (Requirements)

*Bachelor’s Degree in relative to Child Development, Elementary, Primary Education OR a Scientific Field

 (Relative Field to Subject Specialism)

*PGCE with QTS, Valid US Teaching Licence, Bachelor of Education, Irish Teaching Council Registration, SACE etc.

(Recognised Teaching Qualification)

*Candidates require a minimum of two years teaching experience

*International Teaching World will consider the applications of fully qualified Primary/Elementary Education with distinct specialisms in Physical Education, indicated by experiences or qualifications OR fully qualified teachers of Physical Education who have successful experiences with younger students.

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal Elementary Science  teacher will be responsible for the delivery of planning and delivering highly engaging science lessons across the primary sector to a mixed demographic of students, aged 5 – 11.. Emphasis will be paid to teachers abilities to provide structured, yet creative learning opportunities for their students inclusive of long term projects and experiments . The ideal candidate will demonstrate natural abilities with regards to the engagement of young people during interview and will possess a proven track record of providing consistently, high quality lessons and learning experience. The ideal candidate will indicate excellent subject knowledge and the ability to put situations into real-life contexts The ideal applicant will possess a kind and personable nature and engaging personality, while also place emphasis on promote every child’s right to learn by creating a colourful , warm and engaging  environment on a consistent basis.
