The Ideal Candidate

This excellent international school are seeking a specialist English teacher with a history of excellence in the subject area. The teachers will be responsible for the delivery of engaging English lessons as per a standardized curriculum. English teachers will be responsible for the teaching and assessment of a demographic of student through out the ages of 11 – 15  years old. The ideal candidate will be both personable and have excellent communication skills. They will also provide highly engaging lessons with the use of modern-day literature and other forms of media. Emphasis will be placed on engaging students by using novels, texts, and the incorporation of information technology in the class. The ideal candidate will be expected to have a minimum of two years of teaching experience in the field, and references will indicate a track record of a history of effective teaching.

Educational and Experience (Requirements)

*Bachelor’s Degree in English Language, English Literature

(Relative Field to Subject Specialism)

*PGCE with QTS, Valid US Teaching Licence, Bachelor of Education, Irish Teaching Council Registration, SACE etc.

(Recognised Teaching Qualification)

*Candidates require a minimum of two years teaching experience
