Here at International Teaching World (ITW), we are we are currently supporting an excellent international school based in the wonderful Tokyo, Japan with the acquisition of a highly passionate teacher of High School English Literature (American and British) with the ability to deliver highly engaging  High School English lessons with a focus on both American and British literature via the American Common Core Curriculum. The Ideal Candidate

This excellent international school are seeking a specialist English teacher with a history of excellence in the subject area. The teachers will be responsible for the delivery of engaging English lessons as per a standardized curriculum. English teachers will be responsible for the teaching and assessment of a mixed demographic of student. The ideal candidate will be personable and have excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will also have the ability to consistently provide highly engaging lessons with the use of modern-day literature and other forms of media. Emphasis will be placed on engaging students by using novels, texts, and the incorporation of information technology in the class. The ideal candidate will be expected to have a minimum of two years of teaching experience in the field, and references will indicate a track record of a history of effective teaching.

Educational and Experience (Requirements)

*Bachelor’s Degree

Relative Field to Subject Specialism of course is highly preferable

*PGCE with QTS, Valid US Teaching Licence, Bachelor of Education, Irish Teaching Council Registration, SACE etc.

(Recognised Teaching Qualification)

*Candidates require a minimum of two years teaching experience
