The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have a history of preparing and delivering outstanding lessons, encouraging students to communicate in German verbally during their time spent under their provision. The ideal candidate will  assigning interesting tasks and coordinate interesting group projects whilst evaluating and assessing their student’s work, and maintaining records. As well as the promoting  academic achievement  interest within the field of the German Language, the ideal candidate will also pay attention to the overall intellectual, personal and social development of pupils in their care. The ideal candidate will  also have the ability to communicate coherently to other members of the department, follow school policies and procedures,and work in cooperation as a  member of the MFL Team.  As a member of the MFL Department, the ideal candidate will strive for academic excellence within the subject area and arouse a true interest in the subject area for their students. German Language teachers will demonstrate a true passion for the subject area and consistently find ways of delivering  their expertise in ways that are varied,engaging and interesting, utilising a wealth of school resources.

Educational and Experience (Requirements)

*Bachelor’s Degree

Relative Field to Subject Specialism of course is highly preferable

*PGCE with QTS, Valid US Teaching Licence, Bachelor of Education, Irish Teaching Council Registration, SACE etc.

(Recognised Teaching Qualification)

*Candidates require a minimum of two years teaching experience
