Here at International Teaching World (ITW), we are currently supporting an excellent international school based in the wonderful Tokyo, Japan with the acquisition of a highly passionate teacher of Mathematics with the ability to to deliver Mathematics via the American Common Core Curriculum. The Ideal Candidate
This outstanding school are seeking a Mathematics teacher with a history of excellence in the subject area. Teachers will be responsible for the delivery of engaging Mathematics lessons via the American Common Core curriculum. Maths teachers will be responsible for the teaching and assessment of a mixed demographic of student. The ideal candidate will have the ability to guide their students in finding solutions and support them in developing an inquisitive mindset. Teachers will deliver well planned and creative lessons, whilst using assessment as a tool to further progress their students learning. The ideal candidate will possess a true passion for the subject, and will adopt an approach to teaching and learning that compliments that of the school whilst maintaining a consistent focus on continually developing students abilities in the field of Mathematics.
Educational and Experience (Requirements)
*Bachelor’s Degree
Relative Field to Subject Specialism of course is highly preferable
*PGCE with QTS, Valid US Teaching Licence, Bachelor of Education, Irish Teaching Council Registration, SACE etc.
(Recognised Teaching Qualification)
*Candidates require a minimum of two years teaching experience
(As per visa requirements)
