The Ideal Candidate

This excellent school are seeking a PE (Physical Education) Teacher to teach their Physical Education programme to a mixed demographic of student through out the ages of 11 – 15 years old. The Ideal applicant will set high expectations for their students and promote health and well-being by role-modelling a healthy lifestyle. The ideal candidate will be able to make suitable adaptations to lesson plans to suit the ability/age of their students and will encourage participation from all. P.E teachers will serve as excellent role models for their students and demonstrate a positive attitude and a keen passion for sport, well being and a healthy lifestyle. As part of the Physical Education Team, teachers will be expected to communicate effective teaching strategies and lesson plans to other members of their team to support professional development and to contribute to an ever-growing curriculum.

Educational and Experience (Requirements)

*Bachelor’s Degree

Relative Field to Subject Specialism of course is highly preferable

*PGCE with QTS, Valid US Teaching Licence, Bachelor of Education, Irish Teaching Council Registration, SACE etc.

(Recognised Teaching Qualification) 

*Candidates require a minimum of two years teaching experience
