The Ideal Candidate:

The successful candidate will have a passion for working with children with diverse learning needs and experience in supporting students with a range of special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). The ideal candidate will be able to develop and implement individualized learning plans, collaborate effectively with teachers and support staff, and advocate for the needs of SEND students in the classroom. They will have a strong understanding of a variety of learning profiles and the ability to differentiate instruction to ensure access to the curriculum for all learners. A proactive, empathetic, and child-centered approach is essential, along with the capacity to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. The candidate should be confident in contributing to whole-school inclusive practices, assessing students’ needs through observations and data, and working as part of a multidisciplinary team to create and monitor strategies for progress. Experience in delivering in-class support, conducting small group interventions, and offering pastoral guidance will be highly regarded. A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices in inclusive education is also expected.

Educational and Experience (Requirements):

**Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Inclusion, or a related field

**Recognized teaching qualification e.g., PGCE, QTS, etc.

**Minimum of 2 years’ teaching experience post-qualification

 *Experience working with students with SEND
